I would like to know what the industry standards for open rates, clickthrough rates, ect are, for a good buyers list in the gambling, gaming niche.

Id like to market niche products via email. Ideally Id like to find a service that rents the list and emails the message as well.

Double opt-in would be best.

I feel like I have exhausted every single marketing plan there is, from direct marketing to direct mail, to internet marketing. I have carefully crafted a business plan, found my niche and think i have done a good job letting people know I’m here. People tend to flock to my website and thats about all they do, flock. I know its normal for small businesses to go through that phase where the phones stop ringing, the email stops coming in and people tend to stop in there tracks before they ever reach you. Small businesses owners, how did you overcome this? Anything I should try?

I am interested in promoting my website and services to a very targeted niche market: screenwriters and amateurs who write screenplays. But I am having a hard time finding a mailing list or opt-in emailing list for this specific group to promote to. I have checked with some of the big mailing list companies but my niche is just that-a niche. I already promote my site through Google adwords but now want to send direct mail or email.

Does anyone have any suggestions for finding lists for such a small targeted group? Thanks.
