Sales Niche For the Unique?
I am male and have had a long time career in sales. I live in southwest Ohio.
I am an excellent closer, I have been working in the insurance industry and have an excellent reputation for ethics and work ethic.
I do not want this to sound like a pity me party because I don’t and no one else should either. But for reasons most people don’t seem to understand that I am extremely comfortable with my feminine side, to the point of being uncomfortable if I am not expressing it. As a 100% male, all the time, I am miserable.
Many, if not all of the people that see me today think I am gay from my appearance. If you’re a girl, you know what I mean, my nails are manicured, my hair is a little longer and neatly brushed, sometimes I use a straight iron, my brows are maintained and arched a bit, etc.
How far can I take this and still be acceptable in the corporate work place?
